Carlisle Musical Society is always looking for new members ...
We are always ready to welcome new members aged 14 years and over. Rehearsals take place in St Cuthberts Vestry, West Walls, Carlisle every Friday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Applicants will be asked to come for a couple of weeks and then present an audition piece before becoming a member of the Society.
The cost for annual subscriptions for adults is £15 and for Juniors £10, these must be paid up before a member is allowed to appear on stage for insurance purposes.
In addition to the annual subscription a collection is taken each week which helps to pay for the hire of rehearsal rooms.
In the run up to a performance more rehearsals will be scheduled to ensure that we keep up our high reputation.
